The Martha Barnett Women Lawyers of Achievement Award was established to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women lawyers from Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit. Each year this award will honor an outstanding woman lawyer who has achieved professional excellence, served as a mentor, and advocated for the advancement of women in the legal profession. The Thomas M. Ervin, Jr. Distinguished Young Lawyer Award is given to a Young Lawyer who exemplifies the contributions that Tom Ervin made to our legal profession, The Florida Bar and the Tallahassee Bar Association. The recipient must be a TBA member who has demonstrated exceptional service to TBA, TBA’s Young Lawyer Section and/or the Legal Aid Foundation; who exhibits high standards of professionalism; and has participated in activities that promote interaction and collegiality among TBA members. Champion for Diversity in the Legal Profession Award (Nominations Accepted Spring 2025) 

The Champion for Diversity in the Legal Profession Award  honors lawyers, law firms, judges, employers, or in-house corporate counsel attorneys who have taken purposeful, tangible action and made long-term contributions that demonstrate positive outcomes in achieving diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the legal profession. Richard W. Ervin Equal Justice Award presented by the Capital City Bar Presidents Council (Nominations Accepted Spring 2025)
