FSU College of Law part-time Adjunct Externship Supervisor position Posted February 4, 2016 by Tallahassee Bar Association


FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LAW has an opening for a part-time Adjunct Externship Supervisor.  This position will oversee students participating in experiential learning field placements outside of the law school.  This position will also coordinate weekly informational sessions for students that are presented by a variety of legal professionals from all areas of practice. This position will work within the law school’s Placement Office.

We are especially interested in individuals licensed to practice law who have completed a judicial clerkship, worked with the judiciary, or worked in the private sector, but we invite applications from individuals with experience in other legal fields as well.  The ideal candidate should have experience working with students, 2-5 years of post-graduation experience, or experience working with clients. Candidates are required: to have the ability to work well with others; to have the ability to work 25-30+ hours a week; to have the ability to meet deadlines and stay organized; and successfully complete a criminal history background check.
