Frank Allman Jr., a veteran assistant state attorney, was appointed Thursday [Feb. 11] by Gov. Scott to fill a vacancy on the Second Judicial Circuit Court. Allman, 55, of Quincy, has served as an assistant state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit Court since 1997. The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission sent six names to Gov. Scott for consideration after reviewing 21 applications.
