The Department of Management Services’ (DMS) Office of General Counsel is seeking a litigation attorney.

DMS is the business arm of Florida government, overseeing the procurement, real estate, human resources, group insurance, retirement, telecommunications, private prisons, and fleet and federal property assistance programs utilized throughout Florida’s state government.

The Department of Management Services’ Office of General Counsel is seeking an experienced litigator to handle a wide variety of transactional and business litigation including case preparation, trials and the management of litigation handled by outside counsel. The litigation attorney will also handle transactional work, including contract review and negotiation and review of competitive solicitations. The litigation attorney will serve as a hearing officer for the agency on certain informal hearings. Significant litigation experience is required. Experience regarding government procurement is preferred, and litigation experience in both administrative and civil fora is strongly preferred.
