Natalie A. Kato, a legislative, lobbying, governmental affairs, and election law practitioner with the firm Lewis, Longman, and Walker, will present “Election Law,” which will include checks and balances in Florida’s election law, an overview of what to expect on Election Day, and recent relevant election case law, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at noon, at the Capital City County Club, 1601 Golf Terrace, Tallahassee, Florida 32301. The cost is $15 for members, students, and legal support staff, and $20 for other guests. Vegetarian options are available.

Government Attorney of the Year Award Nominations are closing! Each year, FGBA recognizes an outstanding attorney in government practice in Tallahassee. Nominations this year are open to all attorneys in government practice. Follow the links to access the announcement and nomination form. Nominations are due on November 1, 2016.
FGBA is pleased to announce our First Annual Charity Film Night. Proceeds from the event will benefit legal education and legal aid in the Second Circuit. The event will take place the evening of Saturday, December 10th, and includes a screening of the Academy Award winning legal comedy “My Cousin Vinny” at All Saints Cinema and a reception at a nearby venue. Tickets are $20 and will be made available first to FGBA members at our October CLE Luncheon.
