Chili Cook Off

A record turn-out enjoyed the 18th Annual TBA/LAF Chili Cook Off held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Goodwood Museum and Gardens despite being one the coldest nights of the year along with icy roads and a wintry mix. TBA and LAF salute everyone who braved the weather to enjoy the great music, food, and drink, making this one of our most successful Chili Cook Offs in years. The distinguished Chili Cook Off judges were Federal Magistrate Charles Stampelos, First DCA Judge Simonne Marstiller, Circuit Judge Barbara Hobbs, County Judge Nina Ashenafi Richardson and Celebrity Judge Brad Randall with LexisNexis. Sixteen teams comprised of over 120 total team members brought their best chili and margarita recipes to compete for 5 award categories: winners listed below:

TBA President Melissa VanSickle welcomed special guests including The Florida Bar President Eugene Pettis, The Florida Bar President Elect Gregory William Coleman, The Florida Bar president-elect designate Ramon Abadin, The Judiciary, The Florida Bar Board of Governors and FSU College of Law Faculty, Administration and Students.
